Many can do a decent Ollie. But only few have perfected the Ollie to such an extent, that they can comfortably do it down 25 stairs at once. Aaron “Jaws” Homoki is one of those few people that can and looking at the way he does it, one could almost think he’s flying.
But let’s start at the beginning: Aaron Homoki was born 1990 in Phoenix Arizona, where he picked up skateboarding from a young age. He turned pro in 2011 and would soon win the Thrasher’s King of the Road competition no less than 4 years in a row, in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
2016 is when he got really famous however, when he landed an ollie over Lyon 25, a 25-stair, measuring at a height of 14 feet 9 inches (5.5 meters) and a length of 22 feet (7 meters), a trick that was never landed before. This unbelievable stunt landed Jaws right on the cover of Thrasher magazine and forever saved him a spot in the Skateboarding Hall of fame.
Today Jaws is 34 Years old and still going strong on his board. He enjoys a big following of over 900 000 people on Instagram where he regularly posts clips and pictures of some of his craziest tricks. If you’re at all into skateboarding, you should check out his profile!
Where he got the nickname Jaws is not exactly clear. Some claim it is because he used to wear braces in the early days of his career, others attribute the name to his unbelievable courage and fearlessness when attempting challenging tricks.
Whatever it is exactly, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki is undoubtedly one of the greatest skateboarders of all time.
